COVID-19 Control: Taninthayi Region Government held meeting

Taninthayi Region COVID-19 Control and Emergency Response Committee held a work coordination meeting on Friday. Chief Minister U Myat Ko discussed that from 1st January to 16th February, there are 614 cases of COVID-19 out of the test results for over 25,000 people.

The Chief Minister stressed the needs to follow the COVID-19 preventive measures and conduct the health screening to the passengers who enter the region. He pledged to provide test kits, and to make constant test at schools, training centers, markets and other crowded places. He also stressed to accelerate the vaccination process.
