Cotton and Textile Industry: Union Minister Inspects Mills and Factory

Union Minister for Industry Dr. Charlie Than on Saturday inspected the cotton mill in Mahlaing Township of Mandalay Region.

After hearing the report on the mill, the Union Minister called for the continuation of machines repairs and stressed the importance of security and fire outbreak prevention measures. He also inspected machines repairs processes in the mill.

Also, the Union Minister visited No.8 Textile Factory in Pyawbwe Township and heard a report.

He called on concerned officials to sharpen the train employees to promote quality textile production and to cooperate to reopen suspended industries.

The Union Minister also inspected work processes in the factory. On the same day, the Union Minister visited the cotton mill in Yamethin Township and called for efforts to run the mill and to repair and maintain machines to manufacture quality products. He also looked around the mill.
