Corporate Social Responsibility: Launching Ceremony of CSR Report by Chinese Businesses

Launching Ceremony of Corporate Social Responsibility-CSR Report 2025 by Chinese Businesses was held in Nay Pyi Taw on Sunday.

The event was attended by Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Wah Wah Maung. At the ceremony, Chinese Ambassador to Myanmar Ms. Ma Jia said that Myanmar and China stand as long-lasting friendly nations.

She added that the launch of the report is important not only for economic growth between the two nations but also for social responsibility, environmental conservation and development of social status. Union Minister Dr Wah Wah Maung stated that CSR report is the satisfied result of cooperation between the two nations, which will support for betterment of the community.

She also expressed her appreciation for effective supports of Chinese people and entrepreneurs aftermath of the Mandalay earthquake.

Next, Chairman of the China Enterprise Chamber of Commerce clarified the CSR report 2025. The UMFCCI Chair expressed words of thanks and urged to continue cooperation in private sector. This was followed by hand over of related documents for ShweMinWon New Market in Sagaing, donated by the China Enterprise Chamber of Commerce.
