Pacific indigenous youth have strong belief that youth involvement and contribution in COP 29 decision-making and agreement should be prioritized and considered. Miss Samoa 2024 Litara Ieremia Allan says that youths are part of a community and initiative community-led solutions in all Pacific island states, and to have a voice in global dialogue is proper.

Youth involvement and participation have been on the key agenda at the Moana Blue Pacific Pavillion event with other Pacific leaders and delegations in the COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.Miss Kiribati 2024 and youth representative Kimberly Tokanang say the island of Kiribati is at the forefront of climate impact and it will remain for the future generation if no mitigation is taken now.
