Coordination Meeting: Union Minister Stressed Power Distribution And Steadiness

The coordination meeting on more distribution of electricity required in Mandalay Region, steady power distribution and implementations of projects was held at the meeting room of Mandalay Region Electric Power Corporation (Headquaters) on Monday.

At the meeting, the union minister for electricity and energy U Aung Than Oo pointed out that Mandalay is the second largest city of electricity consumption, requirements of more steady power generating and distributing, extensions and maintennances, supervising on the collecting electricity charges, reading data on electricity meter and distribution of electricity bill et.  Then, the responsible officials clarified the work implementations in relevant sectors.

Afterwards, the union minister proceeded to 230 KV MyaukPyin  main power station and 230 KV Takhuntaing main power station and inspected control room, switch yard and status of power distribution, it’s learnt.
