Coordination Meeting: Sagaing Region Government held coordination

The Sagaing Region Government and regional level departmental coordination meeting (1/2026) was held on March 10 at the meeting hall of the Region Government Office, with Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw attending and delivering an opening address.

Firstly, Region Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw stated that it is necessary for region/district/township level departmental officials and the Chairmen of District/Township Administrative and Management Committees to work together collaboratively to successfully implement the tasks in line with the four objectives laid down by the National Defence and Security Council, in order to develop peace, tranquility and socio-economic life within the region.

Subsequently, regional level departmental officials respectively reported on the implementation status of their respective departmental activities. Following this, the Chairmen of District Administrative and Management Committees within the region reported via Video Conferencing, and the Chairman of Monywa District Administrative and Management Committee also reported on the implementation status of activities in their respective districts.

Next, the Region Government members supplemented the discussions and reported on necessary matters regarding the implementation status of regional development activities in districts/townships within the region. Afterwards, the Region Chief Minister addressed the requirements arising from the discussions and reports of the meeting attendees, coordinating and facilitating with responsible officials as needed, and delivered a concluding speech, it’s reported.
