The Ministry of Energy held coordination meetings on July 31 and August 1 in Nay Pyi Taw to review its performance during the first quarter of 2025–2026 fiscal year and to discuss future plans.

He highlighted the importance of systematically utilizing energy resources like oil and natural gas. He noted that such operations require high investment, advanced technology, and skilled human resources, and encouraged both domestic and foreign investment under agreements that benefit the country.

The Union Minister also stressed the need for proper monitoring of existing agreements and revising them if they are no longer in line with current realities or the country’s interests. He also called for sustainable use of natural resources for the benefit of future generations and urged cooperation among the departments to ensure success in the energy sector.
