Coordination Meeting: Rehabilitation and reconstruction in Chin State

An online meeting was held to coordinate the transportation of 271.185 tons of sawn timber to Chin State for regional development and reconstruction projects.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Committee on Rehabilitation and Reconstruction in Chin State, Deputy Minister for Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement Dr. Than Soe, concerned officials, representatives from the Myanmar Timber Enterprise, and local authorities.

Officials discussed plans to deliver 190 tons to Falam, 30 tons to Tedim, and 51.185 tons to Tonzan through Kalay Township of Sagaing Region. The meeting focused on ensuring the smooth and efficient transportation of the timber needed for rebuilding and development work across Chin State.
