






A coordination meeting with Principals from nursing and midwifery related training schools in respective regions/states from the Department of Human Resources for Health was opened through semi virtual system on Friday.
At the event, Union Minister for Health Dr Thet Khaing Win said that under Department of Human Resources for Health, there are 15 medical related universities and a total of 53 nursing and midwifery training schools. From these universities and training schools, doctors, dentists, nurses, midwives and medical experts are being produced.
In the 2-day meeting, the participants need to discuss teaching systems, the teaching aids, the needs for skill labs, advanced books necessary for library, internet access, strong and weak points, systematic teaching system for teaching hospitals, management and administration of training schools and the facts to be followed by those who are undertaking the public finance.
Later, the Director General of the Department of Human Resources for Health and the Director (Nursing) reported on implementation tasks on which the Union Minister instructed the needs. At the event, the Union Minister and the Director General of presented performance awards to principals respectively.
