Coordination Meeting: Preparations for successful Hluttaw session

A coordination meeting for the Third Magway Region Hluttaw's First Regular Session was held at the Magway Region Hluttaw Office on February 5.

The meeting aimed to ensure smooth preparations and successful execution of the upcoming session. Chief Minister U Tint Lwin emphasized the importance of systematic planning and coordination to meet the goals outlined in the work plan. He highlighted the successful conduct of the general elections, where 46 representatives were elected, in additional to 15 military-appointed representatives.

The meeting discussed matters on election of the Speaker and Deputy Speaker, as well as preparations for the parliamentary infrastructure and representatives’ accommodations. The necessary funds and resources are being allocated to ensure that all preparations are completed on time, with a focus on efficiency and coordination with relevant departments.

Regional Security Minister Col. Moe Min Thein also presented updates on the status of preparations. After the meeting, the Chief Minister and officials inspected the preparation measures for the hluttaw session.
