Coordination Meeting: Permission to lease lands, buildings and other assets

The Ministry of National Planning, Investment and Foreign Economic Relations held a coordination meeting in Nay Pyi Taw on Thursday.

The meeting discussed the permission to lease lands, buildings and other assets that department or organization has the right to manage for domestic and foreign investment enterprises. Union Minister U Aung Kyaw Hoe said balancing the procedures among the ministries in long and short-term leasing of lands, buildings and other assets for investment enterprises will accelerate both domestic and foreign investments, improve state’s investment policy and promote the relation between public sector and investment enterprises.

Detailed clarification was also made on the instruction No. 1/2026 regarding the permission to lease lands, buildings and other assets that department or organization has the right to manage for domestic and foreign investment enterprises. Attendees made sector-wise discussions on matters encountered during implementation process.
