Coordination Meeting: MGY CM delivered the opening speech

The Coordination Meeting on Enhancing Agricultural Productivity within Magway Region was held in the afternoon of October 13 at the regional government office conference hall. 

Firstly, in the coordination meeting, Region Chief Minister U Tint Lwin stated that Magway Region is an agriculture-based region, and in line with that, agriculture is the main and fundamental pillar of national economic development. The continuous advancement of the agricultural sector and the development of agro-based industries are prioritized to consistently improve the socio-economic life of the people. 

Following this, Region Security and Border Affairs Minister Col. Moe Min Thein delivered a speech, and the Deputy Director of the Regional Government Office read and clarified the decisions made in the Coordination Meeting on the Development of the Regional Crop Sector (13/2025). 

Subsequently, the Region Agriculture Head and the Region Land Management and Registration Head presented reports according to their respective sectors. The Chief Minister reviewed and coordinated with relevant departments to address the necessary matters arising from the general discussions and presentations on agriculture and livestock sectors conducted by the attendees.
