Coordination Meeting: Meeting With Region, District And Township Education Officers Held

The work coordination meeting with region, district and township education officers of Yangon, Mandalay regions and Nay Pyi Taw Council area was held at the meeting hall of the Ministry of Education, Nay Pyi Taw on Wednesday.

At the meeting, the Union Minister for Education U Nyunt Pe said the education officers serving duty in region, district and township in deferent levels of position should be dutiful and put efforts in conformity with the position as the Prime Minister instructed.

The recruited primary, middle school and high school teachers will serve their duty soon after completing their refresher course. The education officers need to uplift their capacity. Only the qualified teachers will enable to nurture the qualified future generations. The education officers need to take tour to the schools on ground and supervise for the development of education sector, join their hands as the colleagues, avoid discrimination and lead them with sympathy.

Next, the deputy ministers Dr. Zaw Myint and U Zaw Win and permanent secretary Dr. Soe Win gave the remarks. Then, the Union Minister cordially greeted the region, district and township education officers. Next, the director-general of basic education department clarified the agenda at the work coordination meeting.

Then, the region, district and township education officers reported ongoing works of educational processes and the deputy minister U Zaw Win responded the discussions and coordinated necessaries.
