Coordination Meeting: Meeting On Providing Humanitarian Assistances Held

The coordination meeting on providing humanitarian assistances was held at the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement, Nay Pyi Taw on Tuesday and the Union Minister Dr. Thet Thet Khine gave a remark.

In her remark, the union minister said that the natural disaster and other troubles stricken people are being provided with humanitarian assistances in line with the policy of the ministry, it’s needed not only to provide current necessaries but also to fulfill the rehabilitation and reconstruction in timely manner according to the requirement and it’s needed to collaborate among the relevant work committees and the regions and states governments under the guidance of the National Disaster Management Committee.

Nest, the deputy minister discussed the work process regarding with the rehabilitation and reconstruction and the coordination with the relevant work committees, ministries and the regions and states governments.

Then, the permanent secretary and director-generals reported the requirements for the coordination and the needs to be submitted to the National Disaster Management Committee.
