Coordination meeting: Meeting to organize offering provisions and Kahtina robe

The coordination meeting to organize the first ceremony to offer dry provisions to 1,000 members of Sangha and collective Mahakahtina robe offering ceremony was held at the sagaing region government office and attended by the Chief Minister U Myat Kyaw, region government members, region district and township level departmental officials and responsible persons.

At the meeting, the chief minister said that the first ceremony to offer dry provisions to 1,000 members of Sangha will be held on 7th November 2022 with the collaboration of region government, departments, organizations and town’s elders. To hold the ceremony successfully, the relevant committees have been formed.

The members of the committees need to coordinate each other to carry out the tasks assigned to relevant committee, if there are requirements, the region government should be reported in timely manner.

Similarly, the collective Mahakahtina robe offering ceremony will be organized like previous years. The members of committees are believed to carry out ceremony to be successful as those have already had previous experiences.

Next, the chairman of steering committee to organize the first ceremony to offer dry provisions to 1,000 members of Sangha region minister for social affairs U Aye Hlaing clarified the status of forming committee and the works to be done.

Then, the committee members as well as the officials from the region development committee, district genera administration department, region department of religious affairs, district police force, department of internal revenue, region health department and region information and public relations department.

Next, the region government members discussed and gave suggestions regarding with organizing the first ceremony to offer dry provisions to 1,000 members of Sangha and the collective Mahakahtina robe offering ceremony. Upon the discussions and suggestions, the chief minister U Myat Kyaw coordinated requirements with the relevant departments, it’s reported.
