Coordination Meeting: Efforts to develop AI and EV technologies discussed

A coordination meeting on the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Electric Vehicle (EV) technologies was held Yangon Technological University on July 15th.

Deputy Minister for Science and Technology Dr. Aung Zeya attended the meeting and emphasized the importance of advancing in these fields to stay competitive globally and highlighted the increasing role of AI in industries and EVs in reducing carbon emissions.

He urged cooperation with international projects like the Mekong-Lancang Initiative to establish strong research centers and enhance youth innovation and skills. Attendees from government technical colleges and institutions presented updates on ongoing research and development work.

The Deputy Minister provided guidance and support. He also visited classrooms to greet engineering students and inspected the construction site of a new architecture department building, encouraging quality and timely completion.
