Coordination meeting: COVID-19 control and preventive measures discussed

The coordination meeting of Bago Region COVID-19 control and emergency response committee was held at the Taw Win Hantha Meeting Hall of Bago Region Government Office in the morning on September 5th.

At the meeting, the Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win said that the COVID-19 positive cases are being tested in Bago Region in its initial stage.

Although the tested positive cases are those who returned from abroad previously, at the moment the local transmissions have been detecting and it’s needed to accelerate the vaccine jabs and taking the preventive measures.

The COVID-19 preventive orders and directives issued by the Ministry of Health should be abide by, especially at the public gathering areas such as markets, public service offices, schools, factories etc.

Next, the region head officer of the public health department and chairmen of district administrative bodies clarified the detecting positive cases, giving treatment and giving vaccines and the COVID-19 preventive measures and compiled statistics as per the township with power point presentation.

Afterward, the committee members gave the necessary suggestions and the chief minister gave the necessary instructions, it’s reported.
