Coordination Meeting: Acting President Meets with Concerned Officials

The coordination meeting between the Acting President and SSPC Chairman Senior General Min Aung Hlaing and the Union Ministers, the Chairman of the Nay Pyi Taw Council, and Region/State Chief Ministers was held on Tuesday afternoon in Nay Pyi Taw.

During the meeting, discussions covered matters related to agriculture and livestock breeding, the need to systematically explore and utilize oil and natural gas resources for the benefit of the State and the people, efforts for national economic development including domestic and foreign investments, the fight against illegal trade, the progress and completion status of repairs to buildings damaged by the earthquake, and the efforts being undertaken for the successful holding of a free and fair multiparty democratic general election.

Afterward, the Acting President and SSPC Chairman emphasized the need for correct and beneficial use of funds, the successful holding of the election, boosting the national economy, developing quality human resources, urban development, and upgrading public spaces and sports stadiums to meet standards.

He stressed that everyone must utilize their utmost ability and intellect to carry out anything that benefits the State and the people. Following the meeting, the Acting President and SSPC Chairman presented an honorary award to the Kayin State women's football team, the first-place winner in the 2025 Region/State Under-25 Women's Football Tournament, which was accepted by the Chief Minister of Kayin State.
