Cooperative Matter: Accounting Vocational Training Center Opened In Taunggyi

Shan State Chief Minister Dr. Kyaw Tun on Thursday attended the opening of Cooperative Accounting Vocational Training Center in Taunggyi.

In his opening address, the Chief Minister pledged to provide further assistance for the Center and urged the concerned officials to make continuous arrangements including safety measures for the convenience of students. Also, Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Cooperatives and Development of Rural Areas and the principal of the Training Center gave speeches.

In this Ceremony, 10 million Kyats, teaching aid, sports gear, uniforms, mats and mosquito nets were provided for the training school and students. The school now has 82 trainees for its 2-year training course. It’s learnt that those who passed the Grade-9 students are eligible to attend the Cooperative Accounting Vocational Training Center.
