









Convocation ceremonies were held at 16 Technological Universities and 7 Universities of Computer Studies across the country on Saturday.
Union Minister for Science and Technology Dr Myo Thein Kyaw gave a speech to the ceremonies through a video message.
The Union minister said science and technology are evolving rapidly, and digitalization is becoming more and more popular.
It is also becoming an essential requirement for businesses and regional success. He stressed the needs to carry out for constant development of education, research, science and technology with the use of ICT skillfully.
He urged all to try to become good engineers and computer technicians while following the codes of ethics and rules and regulations.
A total of 874 graduates, including 61 Master of Engineering graduates, 674 engineering graduates, 134 graduates of computer science and computer technology, and five post-graduate diploma holders were awarded certificates by the rectors.
