Construction Progress of MAC: Deputy Minister inspects Myanmar Art Center construction

Deputy Minister of Hotels, Tourism, and Culture U Aye Tun visited the Myanmar Art Center in Insein Township of Yangon on Monday, to inspect the ongoing construction.

During the visit, the project team from Myanmar Land & Development Ltd reported on the remaining works for protective walls, steel columns, and roof renovation. The project is being implemented in three phases.

The construction works carried out in 2024–2025 include site clearing, RC and steel structure cleaning, fireproofing, basement floor renovation, installation of a 1250 KVA transformer and 11KV line, construction of two 30,000-gallon ground tanks, and digging of two 8-inch tube wells. The Deputy Minister later toured the building, providing instructions on completing protective walls and roof works.
