Construction of new elevator: New elevator to be installed at Shwe Satt Taw pagoda

Mann Shwe Satt Taw pagoda is located in Minbu Saku Township in Minbu District of Magway region. The consultation, discussion and selection of land are are being carried out for the construction of elevator tower near the Koe Khan Gyi rest facility.

The previous elevator installed can only reached to Koe Khan Gyi prayer hall and visitors need to ascend 84 steps terrace to visit the upper foot print relic of the Buddha.

If the moving elevator tower is installed, people will be able to easily visit the Pada Pagoda. Shwe Satt Taw pagoda Buddha Pujaniya festival is usually held for 3 months from 5th waxing of Tabodwe to the Myanmar New Year Day.
