Construction of Legoland Shanghai Resort in Full Swing

Located in Fengjing, an ancient water town in Jinshan District, the Legoland Shanghai Resort is under construction and is expected to open in 2024.

At the construction headquarter, models and CGIs are showcasing what the resort will look like when completed, together with surrounding facilities, incorporating many functions including education, recreation, tourism and commerce.

The project director of Legoland Shanghai Resort, said that the project team is close to finishing the foundation-laying for the resort and also constructing the supporting buildings.

The Legoland Shanghai Resort project fully integrates the Legoland experience with Chinese culture, Shanghai characteristics, and water town elements unique to the Yangtze River Delta.

The thousand-year-old town of Fengjing is also ready to welcome excess passenger flows once the resort opens. A new homestay hotel will be completed soon and ready to welcome visitors next month.
