Construction of Jetty: MoEA Union Minister inspects progress of works

Union Minister for Ethnic Affairs U Saw Tun Aung Myint and deputy minister U Zaw Aye Maung together with officials inspected construction of jetty at the National Races Village (Yangon) on Sunday. 

There, the Managing Director of the Regal Strength Co., Ltd. reported on the progress of construction tasks. In response to the report, the Union Minister and the deputy minister called for completion of the tasks within the target time and meeting set standard and gave necessary instructions.

The jetty has been constructed by the tender winning Regal Strength Co., Ltd with the Union budget fund for 2022-2023 fiscal year to be able to visit the National Races Village (Yangon) by the people through the waterway in addition to motor road in taking relaxation in the holidays.

Upon completion of the jetty, more visitors can pay a visit to the national races village (Yangon) through waterway and motor route. Later, the Union Minister and the deputy minister met the staffs who are performing duties there and called for serving the duties in unity and working together for holding significant days of ethnic people and also coordinated essentials with officials.
