Community Event : MOI Union Minister visits Kyaukme

Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn, together with film and music artists, arrived in Kyaukme of Shan State (North) on Friday to hold a public entertainment and community event.

Local residents and staff warmly welcomed them at the town entrance. At the town hall. a meeting on implementing the information and development of strong and resilient community was held, with the screening of a video clip titled “Marching Forward to the Goal”.

The Union Minister delivered opening remarks and donated Buddha statues, satellite TV equipment, and digital TV set-top boxes for use in the township. Afterwards, artists presented songs and performances, and local residents joined in singing and dancing.
