Commercial testing for 5.5G network completes

Two of China’s leading technology companies have completed commercial testing of the next generation wireless network technology known as 5.5G, in Beijing. The new network is designed to provide 10 times the bandwidth for mobile users on the basis of 5G. 

The telecommunications company China Unicom joined hands with Huawei to test large-scale 5.5G coverage in three locations: Beijing Financial Street, Beijing Long Distance Telephone Building, and the Worker’s Stadium, a down-town sports venue.
