Commemorative Events: Hailing the International Day of PWDs

Bago Region Government organized a commemoration ceremony for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 3rd December.

Chief Minister U Myo Swe Win gave a speech at the ceremony and presented prizes to the winners of the essay competition to mark the international day. The video message of the UN Secretary General was also screened during the ceremony, followed by the documentary video for raising awareness on the disabilities.

The Chief Minister and party later viewed the displays of the winning essays. Later in the day, the Chief Minister enjoyed the final events of the sport competition hailing the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The first, second and third prize winners of the competitions were presented prizes by the Chief Minister and officials.
