Commemoration Ceremony: Diamond Jubilee celebration of Tatmadaw (Navy)

A commemoration ceremony for 75th anniversary Diamond Jubilee Tatmadaw (Navy) took place at Naval Training Command Headquarters in Yangon Region on Saturday.

Chairman of the State Administration Council Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services. Senior General Min Aung Hlaing attended the ceremony and gave a speech, saying that Myanmar water is blessed with abundant natural resources and beautiful coastal landscapes.

It also provides major support for economic development of the country. In order to use Myanmar water territory efficiently, efforts have been made for extenstion of Tatmadaw (Navy) strategically by reviewing the political, economic and military situation related to the water territory.

He urged all to serve the assigned duties with responsibility to protect and safeguard the Myanmar water and its related interests. It was followed by the screening of the documentary video in commemoration of the 75th anniversary Diamond Jubilee Tatmadaw (Navy).

Early in the day, the Senior General attended the opening ceremony of Myanmar Coast Guard Headquarters, and unveiled the signboard of the building. The Senior General and party later sprinkled scented water to the inscription plaque of the new facility. They later viewed round the building and the landscapes of its surrounding areas.
