Colorful umbrellas decorate farm

Colorful umbrella decorations at a Nasu Senbonmatsu farm north of Tokyo are delighting visitors during the gloom of Japan’s rainy season. Umbrellas in five colors adorn wide areas of the farm, as 120 of umbrellas are decorated a 300-meter avenue lined with cherry trees.

There are also displays of umbrellas with farm-themed illustrations drawn by local children. The event is organized to attract visitors even on rainy days and help revitalize the city. The event first held in previous year and this year, it will run until July 12.
