Colombia's new president attends Medellin Flower Festival on second day in office

Colombia's new president, Abelardo de la Espriella, attended Medellin's signature 10-day Flower Festival, on what is his second day in office. The festival concluded with the Silleteros Parade, in which local farmer-florists from Santa Marta carry all kinds of bouquets.

De la Espriella's first days in office have been overshadowed by two bombing attacks in different parts of Colombia which have left at least one police officer dead and several wounded.
