Collective Cleaning Tasks: Yangon Mayor encouraged cleaning tasks

Yangon Mayor U Bo Htay and committee members inspected township development works and cleaning activities for prevention of dengue fever in North Dagon township in the morning on Saturday.

While collective cleaning activities are being conducted for the township, cleanliness and dengue prevention in North Dagon Township, Yangon Region Minister for Development Mayor U Bo Htay and Committee members inspected the implementation of collective cleaning tasks at No.10 Basic Education Primary School in (28) ward and coordinated necessaries.

Under the supervision of the Chairman of Township Administration U Than Win, through the  collaborative efforts among the township level departmental officials, police members, general administration department staff, township development staff, municipal employees, members of Fire Service Department and Red Cross Society and ward administrators conducted the collective cleaning activities such as abate adding into water storage barrels and tanks in the school compound, spraying mosquito repellent, cleaning trashes, bushes, and tree branches, clearing weeds, clearing the sites where mosquito hide, waste removing and unblocking drainages are conducted, it’s learnt.
