The members of Tatmadaw have conducted counter-terrorism operations to enable the public to live peacefully. After regaining full control of Thibaw Township in Shan State (North), they have been continuously carrying out reconstruction tasks in a timely and coordinated manner.

These tasks include restoring government administrative mechanism, resuming educational opportunities for children, and reinstating healthcare services for the local population. To prevent any disruption to the education sector for students in Thibaw and surrounding areas, efforts are underway to quickly reopen schools.

Additionally, hospitals are being reopened to ensure smooth healthcare services for the public. On October 20, Tatmadawmen, members of Myanmar police force, firefighters, departmental staff, and local residents have come together to conduct collective cleaning tasks at Basic Education High School No. 1 and the Thibaw People’s Hospital. Furthermore, security personnel and responsible departmental officials are resettling the returning residents.

Moreover, security forces continue to carry out responsibilities related to territorial security and administration to maintain peace and stability in Thibaw Township. They are committed to ensuring long-term development and enabling local ethnic communities to live peacefully, engage in social and economic activities, and sustain their livelihoods, it’s reported.
