Collective Cleaning Activity : Rakhine State CM encouraged the participants

Rakhine State Chief Minister U Htein Lin and officials observed and encouraged the departmental staff engaged in a collective cleaning activity at the Lawkananda Pagoda in Sittwe on October 25.

First, the Chief Minister and officials paid homage to the sacred Buddha statues inside the Lawkananda Pagoda and offered flowers, water, and oil lamps to the Maravijaya မာရဝိဇယ and Abhaya Rajamuni အဘယရာဇမုနိ Buddha Images placed at the precinct of the pagoda.

Subsequently, the Chief Minister and officials also paid respects to the ancient Aung Sakyamuni Buddha Image, offering flowers, water, and oil lamps. Afterwards, the Chief Minister and officials visited the collective cleaning activity conducted by departmental staff and the Rakhine State General Administration Department in celebration of their 37th anniversary at the Lawkananda Pagoda in Sittwe.

The Chief Minister encouraged the participants and instructed responsible persons to provide what is necessary to maintain the cleanliness and beauty of the Lawkananda Pagoda. During the collective cleaning effort, it was reported that staff from the Development Committee collected discarded waste, loaded it onto garbage trucks, and properly disposed of it at designated locations.
