Collective Blood Donation: Tatmadawmen, teachers and students participated

In honoring and hailing the 75th Anniversary Diamond Jubilee Independence Day, the departmental personnel, teachers and students from Sittwe University and University of Computer Studies (Sittwe) and Tatmadawmen from local command in Sittwe station donated blood collectively at 500-bed-General Hospital of Sittwe in the afternoon on 24th December.

First, Rakhine State Chief Minister Dr. Aung Kyaw Min and state government members viewed the health processes before donating the blood carried out by the health personnel from the 500-bed-General Hospital. 

Next, the chief minister and members encouraged the donation of the blood and provided supplementary foods. Then, the chief minister provided cash assistance for the healthcare personnel from the 500-bed-General Hospital.

In the collective blood donation, a total of 178 blood donors including the Tatmadawmen from Sittwe station, members of police force, departmental personnel, teachers and students participated, it’s reported.
