Collective Blood Donation: MPT staff participated in collective blood donation

The 17th collective blood donation event of Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications was held at Nay Pyi Taw (1000-bed) General Hospital in the morning on October 24.

A total of 43 staff members and volunteer blood donors from the Ministry of Transport and Communications participated in the donation. The event was attended and supported by Union Minister for Transport and Communications, U Mya Tun Oo, Union Minister for Health, Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win, deputy ministers, and department heads who also provided refreshments and medicines.

Subsequently, Union Minister of Health, Professor Dr. Thet Khaing Win, presented certificates of honor for the blood donation, and Union Minister U Mya Tun Oo gave commemorative gifts in return.

The 17th collective blood donation event of Myanmar Posts and Telecommunications was simultaneously held at hospitals and blood banks in Nay Pyi Taw, Yangon, Mandalay, Tharrawaddy, Magway, Taunggyi, Lashio, Kengtung, and Pathein, with a total of 345 participants donating blood.
