Mon State Chief Minister U Aung Kyaw Thein, together with state ministers and officials, visited Taung Yoe Tan Road in Mawlamyine on Saturday to observe public clean-up activities.

Officials, police, firefighters, and local residents worked together to clear bushes, collect trash, and tidy up the area around pagodas and rest spots to make the site peaceful and pleasant for visitors. The Chief Minister urged residents to help keep the area clean, avoid littering, and maintain discipline.

He also met with responsible officials to coordinate further cleaning and greening efforts along the road. Similar community clean-up activities are being carried out across towns and villages in Mon State, including weekly school cleaning programs to keep basic education schools neat and beautiful.
