Clarification on Fish Auction Market : Taninthayi Region CM gave the necessary instructions

A clarification regarding the project to construct an International Fish Auction Market and related fishery infrastructure for production activities was held by Myeik Corporation Public Company Limited on the afternoon of May 5 at Sandawut Village Tract in Myeik Township.

First, at the project briefing hall, Chairman of Myeik Corporation Public Co., Ltd., U Hla Than, and company officials presented details of the project, including a saltwater shrimp farming project to be implemented in Thityawa Village. In response to the presentations, the Regional Chief Minister U Zaw Naing Oo gave words of encouragement and instructed that the project activities be implemented in accordance with official procedures and that efforts be made to ensure job opportunities for local residents.

Following this, the Chief Minister and party visited the Phaya Nga Su Monastery in Kan Phyar Ward, Myeik, to observe the issuance of household registration lists, Citizenship Scrutiny Cards (CSC), and Unique ID (UID) cards to the public. These services are being provided by staff from the Township Immigration and Population Department as part of a 100-day plan. U Thant Zin, the Regional Head of the department, explained the progress of the operations.

Under this special plan, the Myeik Township Immigration and Population Department staff began providing these documentation services on April 20. To date, they have successfully processed 130 household lists, issued 720 Citizenship Scrutiny Cards, and completed 670 UID cards for the local community, it’s learnt.
