






Christmas Day is a religious celebration of Christians which is annually held to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ.
On Christmas Eve and Christmas day, praying ceremonies and lighting festivals are being held at the Christian churches across the country. On these days, the Christians celebrate praying and recreation ceremonies and set Christmas trees at their houses and churches and decorate them with colourful light and accessories.
As a Christmas celebration of Myanma Radio and Television (MRTV) was also held at Myanma Radio and Television compound in Nay Pyi Tawon Saturday night, the staff of national races who adopt the Christianity and serve at the MRTV Channels on National races, other staff members and their families of MRTV participated in the celebration joyfully.
The celebration started with praying activities and the Director General of MRTV gave a speech for the celebration. The celebration included drawing lots, catering, presenting gifts and other recreation activities.
