Christmas Celebration : MOIP Union Minister attends the event in Wakema

Union Minister for Immigration and Population U Myint Kyaing, along with the concerned officials and townselders, on Thursday visited Kanaso Kone Village in Wakema Township on Thursday to attend the Christmas Celebration at the Assumption's Church. 

First, the Union Minister extended greetings to all the attendees, accepting peace and devotion that Jesus Christ came to brings. As the people presiding in Myanmar have right to freedom of thought, conscience and religion, the government is emphasizing on promoting interfaith dialogue while all religions share the common message of loving-kindness, forgiveness and co-existing in peace.

And, the Union Minister extended his blessing for all Christianson Christmas Eve receiving Christ’s kindness and peace in the future from now on. After Christmas greetings made by one of the Fathers at the Church, the Union Minister provided solar lamps and foodstuff for the Church and received commemorative gifts.
