Chinese firm launches large AI model Yayi

Zhongke Wenge, a firm under the Chinese Academy of Sciences, unveiled a large AI model named Yayi in Beijing.

The Yayi model is an enterprise-level application platform which is able to provide correct answers to vocal questions in daily and professional areas and perform more than 100 functions of five categories, including multi-language understanding and extraction of information from complex scenes.

It passed with ease multiple tests such as AI writing, AI drawing and the one on its ability to hold a conversation in a designated scenario, according to the firm.
