Chinese defence minister meets Thai army chief

Chinese State Councilor and Minister of National Defense Li Shangfu met and talked with Narongphan Jitkaewthae, Commander-in-Chief of the Royal Thai Army in Beijing on 10th June.

Li said, China is willing to work with Thailand to implement the important consensus reached by the leaders of the two countries and enhance practical cooperation between the two armed forces, especially the two armies.

Thai Commander in-Chief said Thailand appreciates and firmly supports China to play an important role in maintaining regional security and stability, and is willing to work with China to promote relations between the two countries and armies.
