China signs 46 climate change cooperation documents with 39 countries

China signed 46 cooperation agreements on climate change with 39 countries at a high-level forum on green development during the third Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing on Wednesday.
The high-level forum was jointly hosted by the Ministry of Ecology and Environment and the National Development and Reform Commission of China with the theme "Green Silk Road for Harmony with Nature."
Since the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) was launched a decade ago, the concept of green development has taken root in increasingly practical global cooperation, speakers noted.
At the event, some 400 guests from more than 40 countries reached broad consensus on green and sustainable development.
