China on Thursday committed to purchasing at least $17 billion in US agricultural products annually through 2028, supplementing prior agreements for roughly 25 million metric tons of US soybeans per year. According to the Chinese Commerce Ministry, the deal restores US beef access, lifts restrictions on bird-flu-free poultry, and sets a framework for reciprocal tariff reductions on bilateral commerce.

Both nations established a "Board of Trade" to oversee mutual tariff reductions and a "Board of Investment" to manage bilateral trade in non-sensitive sectors.
