


China will launch the space station lab module Mengtian Monday afternoon from the Wenchang Spacecraft Launch Site on the coast of the southern island province of Hainan.
The Long March-5B Y4 carrier rocket, carrying Mengtian, has been filled with propellant and is ready for its planned launch at 3:37 p.m. On the launch tower, what is wrapped up is the combination of China's space station lab module Mengtian and its carrier rocket Long March-5B Y4, and they are about to be launched.
It means that the on orbit construction of China's space station, the task has come to an end. Scientific equipment in the Mengtian module, the second lab component of China's under-construction space station, will be used for studying microgravity and carrying out experiments in fluid physics, materials science, combustion science and fundamental physics.
