China-Africa Trade Expo opening

The third China-Africa Economic and Trade Expo opened in Changsha City of central China's Hunan Province on Thursday, aiming to boost business links between the two sides while welcoming more "Made in Africa" products into the Chinese market.

Themed "Common Development for a Shared Future," the four-day event is being attended by representatives from 53 African countries and multiple international organizations. The number of exhibitors has risen to 1,500, up 70 percent from the previous expo held back in 2021.
