The Department of Consular Affairs of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Thursday that China will adopt a visa-free policy for Switzerland, Ireland, Hungary, Austria, Belgium and Luxembourg on a trial basis.

From March 14th to November 30th, holders of ordinary passports from the above six countries may enter China visa-free for business, tourism, visiting relatives and friends, and transit for not more than 15 days. And, people from these six countries who do not meet the visa exemption requirements, still need to obtain a visa before entering China.
