Children get jabs as COVID-19 cases rise in Mexico

Children between the ages of 12 and 14 began receiving their Covid-19 jabs Friday in Mexico City as the number of cases rise in the city.

After a long wait, families feel relieved they can now send their children to school with some measure of protection against the virus.

According to the latest government figures, Mexico has registered a total of 2,390,140 cases of COVID-19 to date, with Mexico City having the highest number of active cases in the country.
