Chief Executive announces direct flights between HK & Kazakhstan

Hong Kong Chief Executive John Lee continued his visit to Kazakhstan. He said the trip had numerous achievements, including the signing of 43 memoranda of understanding and cooperation agreements.

He said direct flights between Hong Kong and Kazakhstan will be launched. Both sides agreed to strengthen cooperation in artificial intelligence and digital development as well as to promote digital infrastructure development.  The two countries agreed to expedite consultations on signing a comprehensive double taxation avoidance agreement and discussions on an investment protection agreement.
