Ceremony of Honoring Students: MCRD UM attended and delivered the opening remarks

The Ministry of Cooperatives and Rural Development held a ceremony to present honorary awards to the children of the Ministry’s staff members who achieved success in the 2024–2025 Academic Year Matriculation Examination, including those who passed with distinctions, at the Ministry’s Assembly Hall in the morning on August 13.

Union Minister U Hla Moe attended the ceremony and delivered an opening address. In his speech, the Union Minister extended congratulations to the students who persevered with diligence and determination to achieve success in the examination despite various challenges. He also expressed appreciation to the parents, particularly those from earthquake-affected areas in Mandalay Region, for their encouragement and support enabling their children to re-sit the examination. The Union Minister urged the award recipients to continue their efforts to become reliable, educated youths who can serve the interests of the State, and to actively participate in nation-building endeavours in their respective sectors.

Afterwards, the Union Minister, together with responsible officials, presented honorary awards and certificates of recognition to the students who passed the examination and those who achieved distinctions. A female student, on behalf of the award recipients, expressed words of thanks, after which attendees posed for a commemorative group photograph.
