






An awards ceremony to honor the children of civil servants from the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Irrigation who passed the 2024-2025 matriculation examination with distinction and the civil servants who won awards at the Civil Service Academy training courses organized by the Union Civil Service Board, was held at the assembly hall of Office No. 15 in Nay Pyi Taw on August 26.
At the ceremony, Union Minister U Min Naung gave a speech, stating that an impressive 64% of the ministry's staff members' children successfully passed the matriculation exam after having to retake it following the major Mandalay earthquake. He commended them for their perseverance, which led to their success. He urged the students and their parents to work hard to increase this success rate in the coming years.
The Union Minister, deputy ministers, the permanent secretary, directors-general, and rectors presented awards to a total of 139 students including 3 students with six distinctions, 14 students with five distinctions, 40 students with four distinctions, 82 students with three distinctions. Each student received a medal, a certificate of honor, and a cash prize.
Similarly, eight civil servants who won awards at the Civil Service Academy training courses were also recognized with medals, certificates of honor, and cash prizes. A student representative then expressed words of thanks on behalf of all award recipients.
